1. General Provisions

Welcome to Roast Feast! These regulations govern your use of the Roast Feast platform and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these regulations.

Roast Feast is a platform designed for friendly roasting events in a respectful environment. We encourage creativity and humor while maintaining respect for all participants.

1.1. These regulations constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Roast Feast.

1.2. If you do not agree with any part of these regulations, you must not use our services.

2. User Accounts

2.1. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2.2. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

2.3. Users are responsible for all activities that occur under their account.

2.4. Impersonation of other individuals or entities is strictly prohibited.

2.5. Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions or bans is prohibited.

2.6. Roast Feast reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these regulations.

3. Content Guidelines

3.1. All roasts must be conducted in a spirit of good humor and respect.

3.2. All roasts must be written in English. Non-English roasts will be deleted. However, foreign language content is allowed if it is part of a joke or comedic element within an otherwise English roast.

3.3. Prohibited content includes but is not limited to:

• Hate speech or discriminatory content based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
• Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior
• Explicit, graphic, or sexually suggestive content
• Content that violates others' privacy or reveals personal information without consent
• Illegal content or promotion of illegal activities
• Content glorifying violence, self-harm, or dangerous behavior
• Spam, scams, or misleading content
• Unauthorized promotional content or advertisements

3.4. Roast Feast reserves the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines without prior notice.

3.5. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

4. Roast Events

4.1. Event creators are responsible for moderating their events and ensuring compliance with these regulations.

4.2. Participants must obtain explicit consent from the person being roasted before creating an event.

4.3. All roast events are subject to a 24-hour administrative review period before becoming active.

4.4. Roast Feast reserves the right to terminate events that violate our guidelines or that receive reports of abuse.

4.5. Event creators must ensure that roasts remain within the boundaries of good taste and humor without crossing into harmful territory.

4.6. When posting a roast event, you must include a photo of yourself holding a clearly legible sign that says "Feast!" to verify consent and authenticity.

4.7. All roastees must be 18 years or older. Photos featuring identifiable minors will be removed.

4.8. Every identifiable person in the photo must indicate consent (e.g., by holding or pointing to the "Feast!" sign). Posts with non-consenting bystanders in frame will be removed.

4.9. The verification sign must be handwritten and physically held. Digital overlays, image edits, heavy filters, or "floating hands" are not allowed. If authenticity is in doubt, we may request a paper sign or additional proof.

4.10. The roastee’s face must be clearly visible (eyes open, no masks or sunglasses that obstruct identity), and the image should be properly oriented.

4.11. Roasts must feature a real adult human. Pet roasts, babies, celebrities, products, brands, movies, or other “joke roasts” are not permitted on Roast Feast.

5. Voting and Participation

5.1. Users must not manipulate voting systems through multiple accounts, bots, or other fraudulent means.

5.2. Brigading (coordinating mass participation to manipulate outcomes) is prohibited.

5.3. Users should participate in good faith and contribute constructively to roast events.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. Users retain ownership of their content but grant Roast Feast a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it on the platform.

6.2. Users must not post content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents.

6.3. Roast Feast respects intellectual property rights and will respond to legitimate notices of alleged copyright infringement.

6.4. By submitting content (including jokes and roasts), you grant Roast Feast and its owners the right to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display your content for promotional and marketing purposes across media (including social platforms, newsletters, and advertisements), subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

7. Reporting and Enforcement

7.1. Users are encouraged to report content that violates these regulations using the platform's reporting tools.

7.2. Roast Feast moderators will review reports and take appropriate action based on these regulations.

7.3. Decisions regarding content removal, account suspension, or termination are at Roast Feast's sole discretion.

7.4. Appeals for enforcement actions may be submitted through designated channels.

8. Premium Features

8.1. Premium subscriptions are subject to payment terms specified at the time of purchase.

8.2. Premium features do not exempt users from complying with these regulations.

8.3. Refunds for premium subscriptions are governed by our refund policy.

9. Privacy and Data Usage

9.1. We are committed to data minimization and transparency. We collect only your email address for the purpose of account creation, authentication, and essential platform communication.

9.2. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Your data is strictly used to operate the Roast Feast service and is not exploited for commercial gain outside of the platform.

9.3. To improve our platform, we use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool. This helps us understand website traffic and usage patterns without tracking your activity across other websites or collecting excessive personal data.

9.4. Nicknames are generated by the platform to ensure a consistent and fun environment. Any other profile content you choose to provide is voluntary.

9.5. We use cookies and local storage strictly for authentication (to keep you logged in) and essential site functionality. By using the platform, you consent to these necessary cookies.

10. Changes to Regulations

10.1. Roast Feast may update these regulations from time to time to reflect changes in laws, best practices, or platform features.

10.2. Users will be notified of significant changes to these regulations through platform announcements or email.

10.3. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated regulations.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1. Roast Feast is not responsible for user-generated content or the actions of users on the platform.

11.2. Roast Feast provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

11.3. Roast Feast's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
